Depression.Depression.
Something that i don't often talk about.
Not many people know that i suffer from it.
You see, the problem with depression is that you hide it, therefore no one knows to help you.
Not that they would.
To put it simply, the world is full of people who don't care.
I'm not complaining, though.
It's easier to hide it.
I mean, what's the only other option?
To tell people, and have to explain?
They would just tell me that everything could be much worse.
I'm not stupid; i know this.
Everything could always be worse.
It's not really your physical situation, though.
At least not for me.
It's more the mental state of the person

For you. I think...now that i realize it, it's so much harder to let go. Before i was oblivious. I never realized i was in love with you. Now, though, i know. It's not something that can be assumed or guessed or calculated. It's something of a resolve, a knowing. A certainty. I wouldn't mind spending my life with you, even if it went the same way it was now. Playing video games, joking around, and sleeping. I would mind it one bit, wasting as much time as possible with you.

This...feeling. I can't explain it. Knowing that there is someone in my life that i would do literally anything for...well, that's scary. It feels like an instinct sometimes,

Cutting.Cutting.

That familiar ache fills my chest again.
The one that tells me that everything is going wrong again.
I try to hold myself up, hold my head high and tell them i am more than what it seems.
I will do something, be somebody.
But my demons drag me down.
Their sharp talons claw at me, and, as always, in my darkest moment i am brought down.
Deep down, into an ocean that is full of my insecurities and doubts.
I am drowning.
The black waves thrash me brutally against sharp rocks that dig into me and make me scream.
I have to do something, anything, to get rid of this burning agony.
I take out the razor.
So beautiful and cold and al

AcheCool winter air fills my lungs.
A few more deep breaths, and i'll be frozen.
The freezing cold slush coating my heart solidifying and hardening, a steel fortress.
I take another breath.
Then another.
And another.
Ahhhhh.
I breathe out in relief as i feel my heart become closed off, unreachable.
Finally, the numbness i'd been waiting for.
Then you come, a swift breeze of warm summer air.
No! I think.
"No!" I shout, clutching my chest as the ice cracks and splinters, finally melting into water and dripping down to be absorbed by my body.

It's hard, though.
Because before i met him it seems like nothing before that ever mattered.

The two i fell in love with.
Not at the same time, of course.
Just around the same time.
Everything before them seems uninteresting.
The gray areas in my life that just blurred by.
First, i met the one that showed me that maybe i could love someone.
I had never felt like that with anyone before, ever.
I had never met someone i wanted to tell everything and learn everything about them.
I had never wanted to kiss someone before, never had that de

It reminds me of you, you know.

The way my nose wrinkles in disgust as the fumes register in my brain.

Still, i feel a tug of desire in my heart.

I know i can't resist.

The taste, burning bittersweet on the back of my tongue.

I take small sips; i like to enjoy my torture.

The liquid moves like icy fire down my throat, scorching everything in it's path yet leaving a path of destruction that i find pleasant.

The trail of fire ends, finally, in my stomach where it dulls to soft candlelight.

I can nearly see the soft glow of the flames as the nauseating warmth spreads through my torso.
